Advice from the team:

Assembly Place the chain on the small chainwheel guard and the small cog. Disassembly Work on the lower section to avoid any sudden lash-back.Derail the chain or use a hook to slacken it. Caution Carefully identify the quick release.Place the plier handles on either side of the quick link, without applying force anywhere else. Reassembly Position the link on the bottom and check that it's securely fastened.
